At FSP we find we are doing an increasing amount of profiling of locations and retailers. Not only do we now use ACORN to help profile the shopper population of a town, but we have enhanced our own internal classification of the retailers themselves. With FSP defined price and customer group classification, we can get an essential view of the stance a retailer is taking in where it wants to be in the market and to whom it wants to sell. More categories have enabled us to achieve a much finer gradation. FSP clients are already benefitting from this enhanced intelligence, and SnapShop members also receive the benefit of seeing how FSP has classified each retailer.
