Based on interviews with leading industry figures, FSP and twentyretail have set out the new environment for retail property. Precipitated, but not caused, by the financial crisis, the best way of doing business is changing. The confrontational model of landlords and tenants will generally be less profitable than the supplier/customer model.

The BCSC Conference and Exhibition provided a suitable environment to launch this new thinking. As the largest gathering of retail property professionals in the UK, there was plenty of interest.
